Measure E: The Measure For Excellence

On Tuesday, May 3, registered voters in the Los Altos School District (LASD) will vote on Measure E. If approved, Measure E will levy an additional parcel tax of $193 per parcel for 6 years – a raise from the current parcel tax of $597 per year.

Auto Technology Class Should Go Green

All around the school things are becoming more eco-friendly and green. The quad is filled with more plastic bins than ever for students to recycle, our toilet paper is made with 40 percent recycled materials and electronic recycling fundraisers are held beneath the solar panels that fuel the school.

LSU to Bring Latino Culture to Campus with Cinco de Mayo Festivities

The Latino Student Union (LSU) is holding a Cinco de Mayo festival on Friday, May 6 to celebrate a day of great cultural importance for the Latino community and to share Mexican heritage and pride with the community. It will be held in the school’s quad and cafeteria area from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. after school.

FBLA Competes in State Competition and Qualifies for Nationals

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members attended the State Leadership Conference (SLC) at the Santa Clara Hyatt and qualified six of its members for Nationals in Orlando, Florida. From Thursday, April 14 to Sunday, April 17 participants spent the weekend networking with and competing against other high school students.
