The varsity boys baseball team won its first round CCS game against Leigh High School yesterday, May 17.

With four days of dodgeball down, the tournament has now reached the competitive phase. Games on Wednesday, May 16 and Thursday, May 17 proved that teams are warmed up, competitive and ready to battle it out for the championship.
LAHS was one of 127 California high schools named to the 2011 Honor Roll by the California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE) yesterday, May 15. The 2011 Honor Roll signifies California high schools that are successful at reducing achievement gaps and maintaining high levels of student achievement.

The Los Altos Green Team held activities in the quad during lunch on Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24.
The Eagles conceded their second season loss today, Wednesday April 24, in a 3-8 defeat at the hands of the Palo Alto High School Vikings. After starting the game out with three runs in the first three innings, the Eagles could not hold their lead and fell behind after the fourth inning.
Members of the badminton team faced off against Palo Alto in the large gym today, April 24, and defeated their rivals 19-11. Securing this victory against Palo Alto means that the Eagles are now ranked first in the El Camino division.
The Haiti Solidarity Club held a presentation today, April 24, called “The Struggle for Education and Democracy in Haiti Today”. The presentation took place in the Eagle Theater and documented the club’s recent trip to Haiti.
At least once a month, the Latino Student Union (LSU), works with Latinos United Walking Forward (LUCHA) to help Latino parents become more involved in their kids’ education.
Today, April 21, One Dollar for Life (ODFL) held a car wash at the 76 station at the intersection of El Camino Real and Los Altos Avenue. ODFL raised $888, which will be taken to Johannesburg, South Africa for refurbishing preschools.
