The school is scheduled to hold its second annual Dance Show both next Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14. The event will showcase three jazz dance ensembles, two regular and one advanced, performing student-choreographed routines.
The theme of the show is “The Way I Am.”
“It’s all about expression through dance,” dance teacher April Oliver said. “There is a wide variety of styles, including Indian, hula, hip-hop and modern.”
Oliver said the finale of the show will be the “best part.” It is choreographed by seniors Helen Broering, Katarina LaPoll, Sarah Warmoth and Natasha Thapliyal.
A total of 90 students will be in the show.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. and will run for approximately two hours.
Tickets are available now from the bookkeeper and cost $5 for students and $8 for adults. Tickets will also be available at the door.
