On Tuesday, March 30 ASB held elections to select officers for the 2010-2011 school year.
Junior Jack Montgomery was elected ASB President, junior Carolyn Yang was elected Vice President, sophomore Yasmeen Serhan was elected Secretary, junior Peter Ambiel was elected Activities Commissioner, and sophomore Olivia Santiago was elected Clubs Commissioner.
During Tutorial, the candidates’ speeches were broadcasted to the classrooms, after which all freshmen, sophomores and juniors voted via Scantron ballots.
“I feel very excited and I think we have a bunch of exciting stuff to do,” Jack said. “We already have a great class, [so] it’s not like we have a lot of revamping to do. I look forward to a good school year.”
