Athletes recognized at winter sports awards, winners posted

The winter sports awards were held yesterday, Wednesday, March 3.

The winter sports awards are held every year to recognize and award student athletes who participate in girls and boys basketball, soccer and wrestling.

Awards are given based on either the coach’s selection or a vote from the team.

Five seniors were awarded “4 Year Plaque Awards” for being on a varsity winter sports team for four years. Seniors Katie Crum, Noorin Dorosti, and Adi Yogev received the award for girls varsity soccer, senior Kacy Tachibana received the award for girls varsity basketball, and senior Eric Safai received the award for four years on the boys varsity soccer team.
