The school’s second kickball tournament is set to begin next Monday, March 22. A total of 16 teams will compete throughout the week.
The preliminary rounds of the tournament will take place on Monday and Tuesday of next week at lunch. Quarterfinals will be on Wednesday, semifinals on Thursday and finals on Friday. Half of the remaining teams will be eliminated after each round.
The tournament is sponsored by ASB and first took place last spring.
Two fields will be set up on the grass behind the large gym, with two games taking place simultaneously.
Many students said they are excited for the tournament.
“I think we’re going to win it all,” Blades of Athena player senior Spencer Wells said. “We almost won last year, and we have stronger players this year.”
