Two awards ceremonies were held at the school this week. The spring sports awards event was held in the gym on Wednesday, May 20, and the senior awards ceremony was held in the Eagle Theatre on Thursday, May 21.
Awards were given to athletes who had high achievements during the season in spring sports such as track, swimming, and baseball. Award recipients received awards such as most valuable player or most improved. One recipient was senior Keane Johnson for Varsity Baseball MVP.
The senior awards and recognition ceremony featured a display of the achievements the seniors have made over their high school careers. Awards from each department were given to seniors commemorating their high achievements as well as scholarships and other awards for academic, musical, and athletic excellence.
